Surnomm\u00e9 &lsquo;Colgen&rsquo; au Japon, on lui doit notamment deux superbes albums m\u00ealant jazz-fusion et instruments traditionnels japonais (Rock-Joint Biwa et Rock Joint Cipher sur le label RCA), des albums orient\u00e9s jazz-funk (High-Flying, Skip Step Colgen) et le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre album du groupe Electro Keyboard Orchestra, dont il fait partie avec d\u2019autres illustres pianistes japonais tels que Yuji Ohno ou Hideo Ichikawa. Mais Hiromasa Suzuki s\u2019est aussi int\u00e9ress\u00e9 au jazz plus classique.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En 1978 il sort sur le label Union\u00a0 Primrose, un superbe album de jazz modal, accompagn\u00e9 de Nobuyoshi Ino \u00e0 la basse et de Steve Jackson \u00e0 la batterie. Totalement introuvable m\u00eame au Japon, Primrose est r\u00e9\u00e9dit\u00e9 pour la 1ere fois en vinyle par le Tr\u00e8s Jazz Club.
