Sorti en 2018 et suivi d\u2019une tourn\u00e9e incessante, leur album \u00e9ponyme a atteint le 7\u00e8me rang des charts de Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande. La semaine de sortie, le titre \u00e9tait \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re place du Top 20 des nouvelles sorties de Rough Trade. Leur succ\u00e8s leur a permis d\u2019\u00eatre nomm\u00e9 en tant que meilleur artiste alternatif au New Zealand Music Awards 2018. Comme pour leur premier album, le processus d\u2019\u00e9criture de <em><strong>Clot<\/strong><\/em> s\u2019est \u00e9tal\u00e9 sur une ann\u00e9e. Certaines chansons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crites sur la route, mais la majeure partie de l\u2019album a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9 tout au long de 2019. Les d\u00e9mos ont \u00e9t\u00e9 affin\u00e9es avant que l\u2019ing\u00e9nieur du son <strong>James Goldsmith<\/strong> (Aldous Harding, Mermaidens) n\u2019intervienne. Le groupe a cependant pass\u00e9 plus de temps \u00e0 trouver de nouveaux sons. L\u2019id\u00e9e \u00e9tait de conserver l\u2019approche live, mais avec un rendu plus lourd.
