Affect\u00e9 par la mort d&rsquo;un ami proche en 2008, c&rsquo;est avant tout un album marqu\u00e9 par la perte et le manque que nous livre Aesop Rock. Dans son style et sa po\u00e9sie, il tente \u00e9galement d&rsquo;ajouter des touches d&rsquo;humour et de l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 \u00e0 ces moments difficiles, toujours pr\u00e9sents en filigrane. L&rsquo;humour \u00e9claire la noirceur des sentiments, quand la douleur transperce les blagues les plus l\u00e9g\u00e8res.
