Paru en 2016, The Impossible Kid marque la premi\u00e8re aventure solo d\u2019Aesop Rock depuis Skelethon en 2012. Sur ce septi\u00e8me album, Aesop Rock poursuit ses efforts pour perfectionner sa technique qui a fait de lui l’un des piliers de l’indie-rap. Son processus cr\u00e9atif int\u00e8gre d\u00e9sormais un d\u00e9sir de parler ouvertement de sa vie personnelle, en explorant des sujets tels que la d\u00e9pression, ses relations parfois difficiles avec sa famille et les quelques ann\u00e9es turbulentes qui l\u2019ont amen\u00e9 \u00e0 quitter sa maison d’adoption de San Francisco pour vivre dans une grange dans les bois, o\u00f9 il est retourn\u00e9 enregistrer les d\u00e9buts de The Impossible Kid. Comme pour Skelethon, Aesop est ma\u00eetre de tous les aspects cr\u00e9atifs de l’album, de la production dont il s’est occup\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame, avec l’aide instrumentale de Grimace Federation de Philadelphie, \u00e0 la conception de la pochette par son ami Alex Pardee.<\/p>\n
