Il fait suite \u00e0 l&rsquo;excellent <em>The Limits Of Men<\/em> (Aagoo Records, 2018), puis \u00e0 son aventure en tant que membre du groupe Darto (Seattle). L&rsquo;album a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit par Nicholas entre mai et septembre 2018. Les morceaux traitent souvent du th\u00e8me du l\u00e2cher-prise, et il \u00e9tait donc important pour Nicholas que la musique soit elle aussi rel\u00e2ch\u00e9e par nature. Les chansons ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9es aux musiciens sous forme de d\u00e9mos puis le groupe s&rsquo;est finalement r\u00e9uni quelques jours avant l&rsquo;enregistrement pour travailler collectivement. <em><strong>God Won\u2019t Save You, But I Will<\/strong> <\/em>a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 en deux jours en octobre 2018 \u00e0 Landers, en Californie, pr\u00e8s de Joshua Tree. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement enregistr\u00e9 en direct, sans aucun overdub par <strong>Robbie Cody<\/strong>. Lors de cette session, le groupe \u00e9tait compos\u00e9 de <strong>Nicholas Merz<\/strong> (guitare \/ chant), <strong>Cory Hanson<\/strong> (guitare), <strong>Candace Harter<\/strong> (clavier), <strong>Evan Backer<\/strong> (batterie), Adrienne Humblet (basse).
