Cette r\u00e9\u00e9dition de Hail est emprunt\u00e9e de tristesse \u00e0 la suite du r\u00e9cent d\u00e9c\u00e8s d\u2019Andrew Brough ; un songwriter et guitariste de talent qui n’officia pas seulement au sein des Straitjackets Fits mais aussi avec Bike et le groupe de Dunedin, The Blues Meanies. L\u2019impact musical d\u2019Andrew est ind\u00e9niable et il est inimaginable de penser le monde sans sa contribution \u00e0 la musique n\u00e9o-z\u00e9landaise. La premi\u00e8re sortie de Straitjackets Fits, The Life In One Chord EP est sortie en 1987 et l\u2019album Hail vu le jour l\u2019ann\u00e9e d\u2019apr\u00e8s en 1988, tous deux ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 au studio The Lab d\u2019Auckland en compagnie de Terry Moore (The Chills). Cette r\u00e9\u00e9dition de Hail regroupe ces deux disques sortis \u00e0 l\u2019origine par Rough Trade UK. Hail est le t\u00e9moignage d\u2019un groupe en plein ascension, d\u2019un groupe qui commence \u00e0 effleurer son potentiel et qui d\u00e9borde de confiance et d\u2019optimisme.\u00a0 Avec cet album, les Straitjackets Fits livraient ce qu\u2019ils avaient de meilleur au rock\u2019n\u2019roll.<\/p>\n
