En 2005, le groupe originaire du Delaware pr\u00e9sentait son premier album studio, Nice And Nicely Done. Sur la sc\u00e8ne rock alternatif am\u00e9ricaine, The Spinto Band apportait un vent de fra\u00eecheur. \u00c7a balance, c’est accrocheur, \u00e7a s’encha\u00eene sans temps mort : l’art d’emballer deux ou trois accords dans un habillage malicieux. D\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re \u00e9coute, on sait que la bande de Wilmington poss\u00e8de ce petit plus qui fait tant la diff\u00e9rence. Quelque chose d’ind\u00e9finissable mais qu’on va d\u00e9celer dans le chant l\u00e9g\u00e8rement chevrotant et d\u00e9jant\u00e9 de \u00ab\u00a0Direct To Helmet\u00a0\u00bb, la rythmique tourbillonnante de \u00ab\u00a0Did I Tell You\u00a0\u00bb, les claviers clownesques de \u00ab\u00a0Brown Boxes\u00a0\u00bb, le groove insolent de \u00ab\u00a0Crack The Whip\u00a0\u00bb, et surtout dans ces m\u00e9lodies g\u00e9niales car furieusement simples. A l’instar de leur cousin Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! ou de leur a\u00een\u00e9 Arcade Fire, le combo diss\u00e9mine un souffle de bonheur autour de lui. Elle est remplie d’entrain, d’inventivit\u00e9 et de beaucoup d’insouciance.<\/p>\n
