On y trouve \u00ab\u00a0You Tore Me Down\u00a0\u00bb des Flamin\u2019 Groovies faite d’arp\u00e8ges cristallins et de la douceur susurr\u00e9e par la voix de Georgia Hubley, l\u2019\u00e9mouvant \u00ab\u00a0Speeding Motorcycle\u00a0\u00bb de Daniel Johnston ou l\u2019incroyable \u00ab\u00a0Andalucia\u00a0\u00bb de John Cale. Tout au long de l’album, c’est tout le folklore de la musique am\u00e9ricaine qui est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 la moulinette du talent des Yo La Tengo, de la composition aux influences ‘hawa\u00efennes \u00ab\u00a0Can’t Forget\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la reprise tr\u00e8s pop du \u00ab\u00a0The One To Cry\u00a0\u00bb de The Escorts. Le groupe m\u00e9lange all\u00e8grement et dans une \u00e9nergie communicative country, rock, ballades pop, americana pour un voyage au c\u0153ur de l’Am\u00e9rique profonde.<\/p>\n
