Le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne post-punk\/new-wave bi\u00e9lorusse Molchat Doma<\/strong> pr\u00e9sente son troisi\u00e8me album studio, Monument<\/strong><\/em>, un titre qui convient parfaitement au parcours du trio. En effet, l\u2019album s\u2019\u00e9rige tel un monument \u00e0 tout ce qu\u2019ils ont accompli en si peu de temps en tant que groupe: des inconnus chuchot\u00e9s aux \u00e9nigmatiques ic\u00f4nes underground, en passant par le buzz viral avec des centaines de milliers de vid\u00e9os TikTok utilisant leur musique. Molchat Doma<\/strong> (\u00ab Maisons Silencieuses \u00bb), form\u00e9 en 2017 \u00e0 Minsk,\u00a0 se trouve \u00e0 l\u2019intersection entre le post-punk, la new-wave et la synth-pop. Sombre, tout en \u00e9tant dansant. Le groupe se compose d’Egor Shkutko<\/strong>, qui chante en russe dans une tonalit\u00e9 profonde et rugissante, Roman Komogortsev<\/strong> \u00e0 la guitare, aux synth\u00e9s et \u00e0 la boite \u00e0 rythmes, et Pavel Kozlov<\/strong> \u00e0 la basse et aux synth\u00e9s. Leur premier album S Krysh Nashikh Domov, sorti en 2017, trouva une passionnante audience sur Bandcamp et les autres services de streaming, et fut \u00e9dit\u00e9 sur CD et cassette. Le second LP Etazhi, devint un succ\u00e8s viral, gagnant plus d\u2019un million de vues sur Youtube, avant de devenir un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne sur Bandcamp. L\u2019album fut press\u00e9 six fois avant que Sacred Bones<\/strong> ne signe le groupe au d\u00e9but de cette ann\u00e9e. \u00c9crit et enregistr\u00e9 lorsque le groupe \u00e9tait confin\u00e9 \u00e0 Minsk durant la pand\u00e9mie du Covid-19, ce nouvel album Monument<\/strong><\/em> est un pas en avant conscient dans l\u2019\u00e9criture et la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9, et d\u00e9voile un groupe surnaturellement \u00e0 l\u2019aise dans sa propre peau. L\u2019arsenal de mat\u00e9riel de Roman Komogortsev<\/strong> et Pavel Kozlov<\/strong> s\u2019est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour inclure une fine gamme de synth\u00e9s et bo\u00eetes \u00e0 rythmes, qu\u2019ils d\u00e9ploient tous avec pr\u00e9cision. La voix d\u2019Egor Shkutko<\/strong> \u00e9volue avec fluidit\u00e9 dans une impassibilit\u00e9 distinctive, livrant ses textes en russe, \u00e0 la fois sombres et romantiques. Avec Monument<\/strong><\/em>, Molchat Doma<\/strong> \u00e9largi le spectre de leur musique tout en gardant la flamme de ce qui les avait rendus formidables \u00e0 leurs d\u00e9buts, le marqueur de ce qui promet \u00eatre un v\u00e9ritable tournant dans leur carri\u00e8re.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
