C\u2019est le premier volume \u00e0 capturer les interpr\u00e9tations live du groupe. C\u2019est aussi le portrait d\u2019une longue relation entre\u00a0<b>Adam Granduciel<\/b>\u00a0et\u00a0<b>Dominic East<\/b>, co-producteur de\u00a0<b><i>Live Drugs<\/i><\/b>, ami de longue date, technicien guitare et r\u00e9gisseur. Le premier single\u00a0<b>\u00ab\u00a0Pain\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>\u00a0est une explosion parfaite et hypnotique du c\u0153ur du rock.\u00a0<b><i>Live Drugs<\/i><\/b>\u00a0a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9quenc\u00e9 pour refl\u00e9ter le d\u00e9roulement typique d\u2019un concert de 70 minutes. Il se d\u00e9veloppe avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de base du live immortalis\u00e9s sur disque pour la premi\u00e8re fois, et illustre la fa\u00e7on dont des ann\u00e9es de tourn\u00e9es ont nourri l\u2019\u00e9volution des chansons. On y retrouve\u00a0<b>\u00ab\u00a0Buenos Aires Beach\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>, extrait de\u00a0<i>Wagonwheel Blues<\/i>, leur premier album sorti en 2008, et une reprise de\u00a0<b>Warren Zevon<\/b>,\u00a0<b>\u00ab\u00a0Accidentally like a Martyr\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>. Une premi\u00e8re version live de\u00a0<b>\u00ab\u00a0Strangest Thing\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>, de l\u2019album\u00a0<i>A Deeper Understanding<\/i>\u00a0(2017), de laquelle\u00a0<b>Adam Granduciel\u00a0<\/b>est tomb\u00e9 amoureux en retombant sur cet enregistrement. Sur les cinq derni\u00e8res minutes de\u00a0<b>\u00ab\u00a0Under the Pressure\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>, un morceau incontournable des concerts, on entend une foule de 20 000 personnes chanter la m\u00e9lodie de guitare.\u00a0<b>\u00ab\u00a0Eyes to the Wind\u00a0\u00bb<\/b>\u00a0est quant \u00e0 lui totalement diff\u00e9rent de sa version sur l\u2019album\u00a0<i>Lost in the Dream<\/i>\u00a0(2014).
