Cedars, le neuvi\u00e8me album de Field Works, combine de l’americana avec des sons ambient occidentaux et des influences moyen-orientales. Les d\u00e9licates couches instrumentales (pedal steel, banjo, oud, vielle \u00e0 roue) flottent au-dessus de drones de guitares pour cr\u00e9er une atmosph\u00e8re apaisante o\u00f9 la musique folk et \u00e9lectronique se confondent. Sur de la po\u00e9sie arabe et anglaise, le cycle des chansons met en lumi\u00e8re certaines des for\u00eats les plus embl\u00e9matiques et les plus anciennes de la Terre, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant notre relation complexe avec la nature. Pour cette sortie sp\u00e9cialement bilingue, le producteur de Field Works, Stuart Hyatt, a r\u00e9uni un groupe h\u00e9t\u00e9roclite de musiciens, po\u00e8tes et artistes. L’album est narr\u00e9 par Youmna Saba et H.C.
