Apr\u00e8s Deixis sorti\u00a0 en 2020, Baal & Mortimer d\u00e9voile son deuxi\u00e8me album, The Torso Tapes. Ce mini-LP est compos\u00e9 de huit nouveaux morceaux, dont deux courts interludes instrumentaux. Baal & Mortimer est le projet d\u2019Alexandra Gr\u00fcbler qui a grandi \u00e0 D\u00fcsseldorf et vit actuellement \u00e0 Berlin. Baal & Mortimer livre une folk excentrique – d’un futur inaccessible, un Canterbury du 23\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. Les couches vocales, orchestrales et harmoniquement modulables, se superposent en enla\u00e7ant les instruments. Ce sont des sons qui respirent la gr\u00e2ce des instruments folkloriques, du cor au soufflet, de la cornemuse \u00e0 la fl\u00fbte, du piano et de l’orgue aquatique jusqu\u2019au violon. Baal & Mortimer sont ma\u00eetres de la s\u00e9duction, ils nous enchantent, ils viennent tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s de nous, dansent autour de nous et avec nous et nous embrassent, nous offrant le plus doux confort.<\/p>\n
