De la formation du groupe indie-rock Verbena, \u00e0 son travail au sein des groupes <strong>Cutgrass<\/strong> et <strong>The Gum Creek Killers<\/strong> en passant par ses deux albums solos, <em>Etowah<\/em> et <em>Rabbit Runs A Destiny<\/em>, <strong>Duquette Johnston<\/strong> a toujours cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 repousser les limites de la musique du sud de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique. Sur ce nouvel album, <em><strong>The Social Animals<\/strong><\/em>, Johnston s\u2019est associ\u00e9 au producteur <strong>John Agnello<\/strong> (Dinosaur Jr., Waxahatchee) et une \u00e9quipe de musiciens de choc comprenant, entre autres, <strong>Steve Shelley<\/strong> de Sonic Youth \u00e0 la batterie. Sa carri\u00e8re l\u2019a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 c\u00f4toyer sur sc\u00e8ne Pavement, Foo Fighters et The Strokes, o\u00f9 se produire dans la prison Etowah County Correctional Facility, puis monter sa boite Club Duquette, bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Birmingham. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 jusqu\u2019aux limites et en est revenu. Il ouvre la porte \u00e0 cette exp\u00e9rience avec onze chansons qui secouent le son typique de l&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique du Sud et pr\u00e9sentent une m\u00e9ditation luxuriante, forte et \u00e9loquente sur l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience humaine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>1.
