Laddio Bolocko est un groupe de noise new-yorkais de la fin des ann\u00e9es 90, compos\u00e9 de membres de Panicsville et des Dazzling Killmen. Souvent compar\u00e9 \u00e0 Can et This Heat et r\u00e9put\u00e9 pour ses concerts \u00e9poustouflants, le groupe a sorti deux albums – Strange Warmings of Laddio Bolocko (1997) et In Real Time (1998) – ainsi que l’EP As If By Remote (1999) avant de se retirer en 2001. Le guitariste Drew St. Ivany et le bassiste Ben Armstrong ont ensuite form\u00e9 The Psychic Paramount, tandis que le batteur Blake Fleming a rejoint The Mars Volta. Castleface, le label co-dirig\u00e9 par John Dwyer des Oh Sees, r\u00e9\u00e9dite pour la premi\u00e8re fois les trois disques de Laddio Bolocko sous la forme d’un coffret de trois vinyles. Un saxophone gigantesque, une batterie qui ne tient physiquement qu’\u00e0 un fil et des cordes \u00e9lectriques qui s\u2019enroulent en motifs circulaires flottant tels des esprits sinistres, Laddio Bolocko \u00e9tait un groupe \u00e0 part.<\/p>\n
