Depuis Pre\u0301liminaires<\/em>, on sait qu\u2019Iggy Pop<\/strong> peut s\u2019exprimer autrement qu\u2019en rugissant sur des guitares en pluie d\u2019e\u0301chardes, qu\u2019en faisant hurler la poudre. Uniquement dicte\u0301e par ses aspirations artistiques, intactes, et par un besoin vital d\u2019aller a\u0300 l\u2019essentiel, sa ligne de conduite l\u2019a mene\u0301 a\u0300 enregistrer, sous influence franc\u0327aise, artistique et de c\u0153ur, les onze chansons de cette re\u0301e\u0301dition. Avec ces reprises de \u00ab\u00a0La Vie en Rose\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, \u00ab\u00a0Everybody\u2019s Talking\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, \u00ab\u00a0Syracuse\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, \u00ab\u00a0Michelle\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> ou \u00ab\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>La Belle Vie\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, <\/span>Iggy n\u2019essaie pas de prouver quoi que ce soit. Il oriente simplement vers la lumie\u0300re l\u2019autre face de sa personnalite\u0301. D\u2019une voix aussi belle que grave, et qui remuent les tripes, Iggy Pop<\/strong> s\u2019accapare ces classiques, les taille a\u0300 sa dimension et garantit le frisson. Pour ce 10e anniversaire, il re\u0301enregistre \u00ab\u00a0La Belle Vie\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>. Une chanson compose\u0301e par Raymond Le Se\u0301ne\u0301chal<\/strong> et Sacha Distel<\/strong>, coe\u0301crite par Jean-Broussolle<\/strong> et Jack Reardon<\/strong> en 1962 . Elle est devenue un standard de jazz en 1963 lorsque Tony Bennett l\u2019enregistra sous le titre \u00ab\u00a0The Good Life\u00a0\u00bb. IggyPop<\/strong> aurait-il enterre\u0301 sa hache de guerre ? Rien n\u2019est moins su\u0302r. Il y a dans l\u2019e\u0301le\u0301gance de ces arrangements qui ne trahissent pas, et catapultent les chansons vers l\u2019essentiel, une conviction plus dangereuse que n\u2019importe quelle arme !<\/span><\/p>\n
