I Shall Die Here \/ Earth Triumphant est une r\u00e9\u00e9dition augment\u00e9e du quatri\u00e8me album du duo de doom metal am\u00e9ricain The Body, sorti pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2014. Partageant leur vision moribonde avec le producteur Bobby Krlic, alias The Haxan Cloak, le son \u00e9prouv\u00e9 de The Body est r\u00e9duit en miettes sur I Shall Die Here, mutil\u00e9 par le processus et r\u00e9anim\u00e9 en un \u00e9tat spectral par leur collaboration. Ce double album est compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par l’in\u00e9dit Earth Triumphant, un album compagnon \u00e0 l\u2019origine de I Shall Die Here et qui pr\u00e9sente la brutalit\u00e9 de The Body sous sa forme la plus primitive. Les deux albums ont \u00e9t\u00e9 revisit\u00e9s par The Body et Seth Manchester \u00e0 Machines With Magnets et remasteris\u00e9s par Matt Colton aux Metropolis Studios. L’approche musicale de The Body, grav\u00e9e par les rythmes colossaux de Lee Buford et les hurlements fous et les guitares lourdes de basses de Chip King, est devenue encore plus terrifiante avec les ambiances post-mortem de Bobby Krlic. I Shall Die Here d\u00e9coupe \u00e0 la serpe les restes du cadavre du metal et l’\u00e9clabousse de voix tourment\u00e9es et obscures.
