Pop Crimes voit le jour en 2019, entre Romain (ex En Attendant Ana), Morgane (ex Blondi\u2019s Salvation), Nicolas (Young Like Old Men) et Quentin. Apr\u00e8s la sortie de trois EP sur Howlin\u2019 Banana et Safe In The Rain Records et des concerts en premi\u00e8re partie de The Murder Capital, Mourn, Night Beats, Dignan Porch, The Homesick, Justin Sullivan entre autres, le groupe annonce son premier album, Gathered Together. C\u2019est suite \u00e0 deux ans de studio, d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation, de d\u00e9couverte et de moments de gr\u00e2ce que sortent ces 10 titres nerveux, aimants, profonds et plein d\u2019\u00e9nergie. Pour l\u2019occasion, le label bordelais Les Disques Du Paradis rejoint les deux autres des d\u00e9buts. Musicalement, on y entend Stephen Malkmus et sa bande, leurs enchev\u00eatrements de guitares noisy et leurs voix pas tout \u00e0 fait justes; Ray Davies, pour l\u2019\u00e9nergie des refrains, les changements de ton et l\u2019engagement dans les choeurs; Nick Cave et ses Bad Seeds ou ses Boys Next Doors, pour les arrangements de piano et de Rhodes, les larsens et les reverbs caverneuses.<\/p>\n
