No Matter How Long The Line Is At The Cafeteria, There\u2019s Always A Seat! est le dernier album des Big Boys, ic\u00f4nes punk texans, sorti en 1985. Les Big Boys ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 sur la sc\u00e8ne punk d’Austin \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1970. Le groupe \u00e9tait dirig\u00e9 par Randy \u00ab\u00a0Biscuit\u00a0\u00bb Turner avec Tim Kerr \u00e0 la guitare, Chris Gates \u00e0 la basse et une s\u00e9rie de batteurs, dont le plus connu est Rey Washam (Scratch Acid). Contrairement au reste de la sc\u00e8ne hardcore de l’\u00e9poque, ils n’avaient pas peur de s’\u00e9loigner des tempos super rapides en faveur d’un bon skate funk de blanc. Au-del\u00e0 des tendances funk, le groupe jouait parfois un post-punk pr\u00e9coce qui n’\u00e9tait pas sans rappeler celui de leurs contemporains The Minutemen. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur participation aux premi\u00e8res \u00ab\u00a0skate comps\u00a0\u00bb du magazine Thrasher, les Big Boys \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s populaires parmi les nouveaux adeptes du skate punk des ann\u00e9es 80;<\/p>\n
