Wewantsounds est ravi de r\u00e9\u00e9diter l’album culte de Ziad Rahbani, Amrak Seedna & Abtal Wa Harameyah, sorti en 1987. Ziad Rahbani est une l\u00e9gende vivante de la musique arabe et une ic\u00f4ne culturelle au Liban o\u00f9 il est n\u00e9. Musicien, pianiste et producteur accompli, il est \u00e9galement un dramaturge et un activiste politique c\u00e9l\u00e8bre.\u00a0 L’album Amrak Seedna & Abtal Wa Harameyah sort en 1987 sur le label Relax-in bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Beyrouth et constitue la bande originale de deux pi\u00e8ces de th\u00e9\u00e2tre \u00e9crites par le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre dramaturge et acteur libanais Antoine Kerbaj. L’album alterne instrumentaux, courts interm\u00e8des et titres chant\u00e9s par ses voix habituelles dont Sami Hawat, Abbas Chahine, Nabil Qazan, m\u00ealant la musique arabe au cocktail habituel de Ziad Rahbani de jazz-fusion, de funk et de groove. Outre le \u00ab\u00a0James Bond Theme\u00a0\u00bb adapt\u00e9 ici comme motif r\u00e9current sur la bande originale de \u00ab\u00a0Abtal Wa Harameyah\u00a0\u00bb, on retrouve des joyaux comme les funky \u00ab\u00a0Break\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Al Jeel (The Generation)\u00a0\u00bb et le magnifique \u00ab\u00a0Mashhad Al Hob\u00a0\u00bb avec Ziad au Fender Rhodes accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019une superbe fl\u00fbte. La musique traditionnelle arabe est \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sente avec le morceau \u201cHake Ad Ma Baddak Fee\u201d suivi de \u201cOghniyat El Gharam\u201d avec des arrangements typiques de oud et de percussions arabes. Cette sortie est exceptionnelle car l’album, enregistr\u00e9 au studio de Ziad, n’est sorti qu’au Liban. C\u2019est un classique recherch\u00e9 par les DJ et collectionneurs de groove arabe \u00e0 travers le monde. La r\u00e9\u00e9dition comprend l\u2018audio remasteris\u00e9 par Colorsound Studio \u00e0 Paris et un insert 2 pages avec introduction de Mario Choueiry de l’Institut du Monde Arabe \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>\n
