Le premier album sur Sub Pop du merveilleux trio gallois The Bug Club, rempli d’un punk accrocheur, \u00e9nergique et plein d’esprit. Ils ont sorti dix singles, deux albums, deux EP, trois projets que personne ne sait d\u00e9crire, et un album sous un autre nom de groupe, le tout depuis 2021. Initialement compos\u00e9 de Sam Willmett (chant\/guitare) et Tilly Harris (chant\/basse) et de Dan Matthew (batterie), The Bug Club ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 jouer en 2016. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9s par le label britannique Bingo Records \u00e0 l’automne 2020. Leur troisi\u00e8me album On The Intricate Inner Workings Of The System – et premier pour Sub Pop – voit le groupe servir un solide morceau de leur sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9, le garage rock The Modern Lovers crois\u00e9 avec The Nuggets. On y retrouve le fun appel \/ r\u00e9ponse des B-52 m\u00e9lang\u00e9 \u00e0 la puissance des accords d’AC\/DC. Le groupe s’oriente vers un punk rapide, et la double salve d’ouverture \u00ab\u00a0War Movies\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Quality Pints\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9tablit les r\u00e8gles du jeu : des voix en duo, des r\u00e9flexions surr\u00e9alistes sur des sujets quotidiens qui deviennent profonds, et des riffs \u00e0 gogo.<\/p>\n
