Longtemps consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un pr\u00e9curseur de l&rsquo;alt-country et du roots-rock, Fear &amp; Whiskey s&rsquo;inspire du folk, du honkey-tonk et de la musique cajun. Les chansons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compos\u00e9es lors de diff\u00e9rentes sessions, dont l&rsquo;une en 1983 avec des percussions fournies par la bo\u00eete \u00e0 rythmes Roland 606 personnalis\u00e9e des Three Johns.
