Will Johnson, figure cl\u00e9 de la sc\u00e8ne ind\u00e9pendante texane (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel, 400 Unit de Jason Isbell), avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 partag\u00e9 un album marquant avec Molina en 2009, Molina and Johnson. Cette nouvelle r\u00e9union, avec les membres originaux de Magnolia Electric Co., revisite cet h\u00e9ritage en revisitant des morceaux des deux artistes, dans la lign\u00e9e du projet Goshen Electric Company de 2018. Les sessions, enregistr\u00e9es au Texas avec Britton Beisenherz et masteris\u00e9es par Matthew Barnhart, promettent un m\u00e9lange poignant de m\u00e9moire et de renouveau. La pochette est sign\u00e9e Will Schaff, dont l\u2019esth\u00e9tique reste indissociable de l\u2019univers de Jason Molina.
