Il \u00e9crit, arrange et enregistre tout seul, en multi-couches, jouant lui-m\u00eame tous les instruments &#8211; des instruments qu&rsquo;il fabrique souvent de ses propres mains, tout comme ses micros, amplificateurs et son mat\u00e9riel d&rsquo;enregistrement. Enregistr\u00e9 dans son studio maison \u00e0 Nuremberg, cet album de 18 titres m\u00eale folk, blues, gospel et field hollers, avec une \u00e9criture pleine d&rsquo;humour et de malice sur les absurdit\u00e9s du quotidien. En combinant blues \u00e9puis\u00e9 et folk de chemin de terre, port\u00e9 par une voix l\u00e9g\u00e8rement rauque, Reeder tisse un tissu musical qui ressemble \u00e0 du vieux jean doux et effiloch\u00e9. Le gatefold est sign\u00e9 par John Prine lui-m\u00eame, avec une photo de la lettre originale qui raconta tout au d\u00e9but.
