Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas une destination sans chemin : les deux albums pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents du groupe, \u00ab\u00a0All the Footprints You\u2019ve Left Behind and the Fear Expecting Ahead\u00a0\u00bb (2001) et \u00ab\u00a0A Dead Sinking Story\u00a0\u00bb (2003), annon\u00e7aient clairement qu\u2019un changement se profilait \u00e0 l\u2019horizon. Comme toujours, Envy \u00e9tait anim\u00e9 par une curiosit\u00e9 cr\u00e9ative et une exploration \u00e9motionnelle. Aucun album de leur histoire de pr\u00e8s de quatre d\u00e9cennies n\u2019illustre peut-\u00eatre mieux cette qu\u00eate que Insomniac Doze. Vingt ans plus tard, il s\u2019impose comme un pionnier et l\u2019un des premiers exemples de la dissolution des id\u00e9es re\u00e7ues sur le punk. Insomniac Doze \u2013 Anniversary Edition c\u00e9l\u00e8bre le 20e anniversaire de la sortie de l\u2019album fondateur d\u2019Envy. Remasteris\u00e9 en 2026 par Josh Bonati, le nouveau coffret de luxe \u00e0 rabats de l\u2019album comprend les paroles compl\u00e8tes en anglais et en japonais.
