Apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es de tourn\u00e9es avec son groupe punk-teint\u00e9 et un passage remarqu\u00e9 comme guitariste aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, la naissance de sa fille l&rsquo;a conduit \u00e0 faire une pause et \u00e0 se consacrer pleinement \u00e0 sa famille et \u00e0 sa sc\u00e8ne locale \u00e0 Birmingham. C&rsquo;est l\u00e0 qu&rsquo;il a perfectionn\u00e9 son show en solo : guitare \u00e9lectrique fingerpick\u00e9e, stomp box amplifi\u00e9e pour assurer le rythme, looper pedal pour superposer les solos, et des lyrics de conteur dont Conor Oberst et Phoebe Bridgers (Better Oblivion Community Center) se sont empar\u00e9s.
