Qu\u2019on l\u2019appelle Everlast, Whitey Ford ou Erik Francis Schrody, le chanteur, rappeur, songwriter et leader de House of Pain et La Coka Nostra n\u2019a eu de cesse de se r\u00e9inventer tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re. De son premier album solo Forever Everlasting en 1989 sous les auspices du Rhyme Syndicate d\u2019Ice-T alors qu\u2019il sort \u00e0 peine de l\u2019adolescence au succ\u00e8s mondial du \u00ab\u00a0Jump Around\u00a0\u00bb avec House of Pain, de son album multi-platine Whitey Ford Sings the Blues avec son tube crossover \u00ab\u00a0What It\u2019s Like\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 sa contribution r\u00e9compens\u00e9e d\u2019un Grammy Award au \u00ab\u00a0Put Your Lights On\u00a0\u00bb de Santana sur Supernatural, Everlast a fait taire ses opposants les plus farouches. En chemin il s\u2019est forg\u00e9 un son unique fusionnant hip-hop, rock, folk, funk et blues qui influencera entre autres Kid Rock, Colt Ford, Yelawolf, JellyRoll ou Lil Wyte. Sortant sur son propre label Martyr-Inc le nouvel album d\u2019Everlast, Whitey Ford\u2019s House of Pain, est son septi\u00e8me disque solo, le premier depuis Songs of the Ungrateful Living paru en 2011. En 12 morceaux (et 3 interludes) on retrouve avec bonheur son style \u00e9clectique piochant dans une exp\u00e9rience musicale d\u2019une triple d\u00e9cennie. Avec la participation d\u2019Aloe Blacc sur \u00ab\u00a0Slow Your Roll\u00a0\u00bb et de Slug sur \u00ab\u00a0Oooohh (I Don\u2019t Need You)\u00a0\u00bb. La version vinyle de Whitey Ford\u2019s House of Pain, est en double vinyle 180 gr avec pochette gatefold incluant une version CD de l\u2019album sera disponible le 16 novembre 2018.<\/p>\n
